VISION
STATEMENT
As the representative of membership, my vision is to uphold the rich legacy of our Founders, our principles, and our potential positioning as a premier global sisterhood through Reliable Impact and Sustainable Excellence in membership throughout every facet of our organization.
"My commitment to the membership is to be a focused, polished, and refined leader, accountable to the Sisterhood through measured performance; collaborative establishment and implementation of strategic membership goals and objectives; active engagement to revitalize the sisterhood in recruitment, retention, reclamation, recognition, and ROI with a comprehensive plan for membership; a First Vice President who puts members FIRST through Reliable Impact and Sustainable Excellence!"



Meet Melissa
Proven Leadership

Soror Melissa I. Walton - Jones, is a graduate of a Historically Black College, Rust College, in Holly Springs, Mississippi. She attended on a full academic scholarship and was inducted into Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society, named an Arthur Ashe Athletic Scholar, and recognized in Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities. She is an alumnus, former section leader, and soloist of the World Renowned Rust College A'cappella Choir and was active in other sports, social, and civic organizations such as Student Government Association and Students in Free Enterprise.
She was an active athlete, former state track champion in hurdles for the state of Mississippi, a cheerleader and member of the basketball team. It was on the campus of Rust College in the Spring of 2000 that she joined the best sorority in the world, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Iota Gamma Chapter. She is a daughter of the Unconquerable South Central Region, and has been a member of the sorority for 21 years, as of March 30th.
